ABOUT US

Our goal is very simple—we’re here to help you keep your teeth. From eating to smiling, healthy teeth make us all feel and look our best.

We believe that prevention and education are key to keeping your teeth strong. Yet even the most faithful flosser may experience the need for dental implants. If so, we’ll collaborate with your dentist to get you feeling as good as new.

Whatever the reason for your visit, your safety is our highest priority. We follow or exceed all infection control guidelines from the CDC and OSHA, along with multiple dental professional organizations.

We understand that many patients feel anxious about dental treatment or visiting a new dental office. Our team has decades of experience, and is dedicated to providing you with gentle, personalized care. We want to make you as comfortable as possible, and look forward to meeting you.

OUR SERVICES

Non-Surgical
gum treatments

Deep cleaning the gum line to remove plaque and tartar from the root surfaces.  This conservative procedure is often the first line of treatment to treat chronic gum disease.

Surgical Treatment

Advanced cases will often need surgical access to get to the areas were the bone and gum tissues that support the teeth have been lost.  We may be able to regenerate these tissues and put our patients in the best situation to keep these areas healthy over time.

Soft Tissue Graft

These procedures allow us to augment thin gums in order to stop the process of gum recession or to reverse the tissue loss and cover exposed roots.  We typically use our patients own tissues for the best results, but there are alternative options as well.

Crown Lengthening

These procedures are sometimes required before a crown or restoration procedure at your dentist.  This involves exposing more tooth structure to ensure a good result.  Esthetic crown lengthening is mostly done around the front teeth to make teeth that look “short,” or a “gummy smile” look more natural.

Ridge Augmentation

Treat loss of jaw bone resulting from periodontal disease or the tissue lost from previous tooth extractions. This is often needed to allow implant placement or to improve cosmetics.

Dental implants

Implants are often the treatment of choice to replace missing teeth.  Implants replace the root of the tooth, and are used to retain single crowns, bridges, or to hold in removable appliances.  We use CBCT 3D imaging to place implants in the ideal position.

Other procedures

As periodontists we are the specialists that handle all treatments of the soft tissues of the oral cavity.  Sometimes permanent teeth don’t erupt into the mouth and we need to remove tissues to facilitate tooth movement.  We also handle the diagnosis and treatment of pathologic conditions such as lichen planus.
